Hey there! Hellloooo! It’s Kailexness! I’m joining in The Gallery from my Resolutionary Blog this week because, to be honest, it seemed daft not to!!
One of my new years resolutions was to get my digital files sorted! My dear husband thought it would be a good idea to upload all our digital images into individual date order – it wasn’t, it’s a bloody night mare! So I’m having to rename all the files since 2007 and put them in year folders so they are at least viewable.
My photo albums stop pre christmas 2006… it was a busy year, new baby and all that, I need to choose some pictures to print off and get them up to date, 5 years… no small task believe me!
For my 40th Birthday my smalls bought me a digital picture frame, you know the ones that scroll the pictures for you, it’s still in it’s box… I need to choose some photo’s and get that going before November (when I will be 42! Bad Mother!!)
So there you have it in a nutshell, my photography resolution for 2012.
Best get on with it then!!!

Here’s a post I wrote today for the Resolutionary2012 blog, just in case you might have missed it
I should ask for a digital photo frame this year. We’ve got some many pictures it would be great to see them more often.
I feel your pain. My advice – NAME the folders so that you can find what you need, then PRESERVE them in chronological order on a timeline, here as a legacy for your lucky family (other sites do exist of course…!)

I put the last month’s photos on the photoframe and a random month (or two) from a different year, the kids love seeing the recent pics and the ones where they were little and it doesn’t take too much time to change as I’m not individually selecting pictures. Our early digital photos need the rubbish ones deleting though so the odd “interesting” one does pop up! The culling being one of the tasks I have been putting off… I think our albums stop not much past your wedding.
Heck! an I thought I was bad!!! That’s such a long time ago! *rolls eyes* a life sentence
Oh excellent, excellet resolution. My digital files are a MESS! I would actually consider paying someone (in cake or biscuits maybe) to tidy mine up, it’s a disaster. Hope you get through your resolution this year.
That is going to be a serious sort out! That is the one downside of digital photography though, it is easy to take so many more photos but then involves a lot more organisation!
